Chemistry Modes

The MODE button switches between STD&AGM, Lithium/LiFePO4 and Repair. The manual includes a chemistry and voltage chart for matching the mode to GEL, SLA, EFB, Flooded, WET or AGM batteries.

6V and 12V Detection

The charger reads the voltage of the connected battery and sets its output to match, 6V or 12V. There is no hardware switch to set before you connect the clamps.

Protection Circuits

The unit lists eight protection types: reverse polarity, short circuit, overcharge, overload, temperature, voltage spike, overheat and undervoltage. The clamp lead also carries a reverse-polarity guard.

Temperature Sensor

An internal temperature sensor lets the charger adjust its output to the surrounding conditions. This is a temperature-compensated charging feature that runs during normal use without any setting on your part.
