What the VoltSage displays and stores
Four readings
A function button cycles the display through voltage, amperage, wattage and running cost. You plug the appliance into the meter, so every reading comes from that one device.
Overload warning
When the connected load passes 3680 watts, VoltSage flashes a warning on the display. That is your cue to unplug the appliance and check what is drawing so much power.
High-contrast display
The LCD uses a high-contrast layout, so the numbers can be read from different viewing angles. That helps when the outlet sits behind furniture or in a garage or basement.
Running cost entry
Enter your local utility rate once and VoltSage uses it to show a running cost for the device plugged into it. The rate is on your utility bill, per kWh.

VoltSage is a digital voltage meter that plugs into a wall outlet and sits between the outlet and an appliance. A high-contrast LCD displays voltage, amperage, wattage and running cost.
As a plug-in watt meter and energy usage meter, it reads loads down to 1 watt, which suits checking chargers, routers and other always-on electronics as a vampire load detector. A 3680W overload warning flashes when a connected device draws past that level. The meter handles 230V and 19A.
Once a local utility rate is entered, this appliance power meter shows running cost next to kWh. A built-in rechargeable battery holds settings and energy history while unplugged.
