  • Stretch the cover over the steering wheel rim. If the material feels stiff, let the cabin warm up first.
  • Plug the cable into the 12V lighter socket.
  • Route the 1.5 m cable straight down the steering column and leave slack at the base.
  • Turn the wheel from lock to lock and check that the cord clears the turn-signal stalk and wiper lever.
  • Unplug the cable when you park. The cover can stay on the wheel.
  • When you no longer need it, unplug the cable, remove the cover and store it.

Construction and cable layout

Full-Rim Heating Wire

The heating element wraps the whole circumference of the rim instead of covering only part of it. When you grip the wheel with your fingers curled, the wire runs under the palm and the finger wrap alike.

Column-Routed 1.5 m Cable

The 1.5 m cable runs straight down the steering column, with slack left at the base. This layout keeps the cord near the column and away from the turn-signal stalk and wiper lever.

Reinforced Plug Joint

The point where the cord meets the plug is reinforced. This is the spot that sees the most bending when you plug in, unplug and reroute the cable, so it gets extra material.

Inline Thermal Regulation Module

A thermal regulation module sits inline on the cord between the lighter plug and the cover. It is part of the cord assembly and ships in the box with the cover and cable.
