Sealed Body

The ProbeStrike body is a sealed housing with one control button. A belt holster with a lanyard loop is included for carrying the pinpointer in the field.

USB Lithium Battery

A rechargeable lithium battery powers the unit, and you charge it with the included USB-C cable. There is no 9V battery to carry or swap out.

The probe detects at the tip and along its sides. Sweep it around the hole, and the audio and vibration alerts respond as the tip comes near a target.

Three Sensitivity Levels

Three sensitivity levels let you set the probe for the ground you are digging in, such as a trashy park, clean sand or a mineralized creek bed.

Sweep with your detector until you get a target tone and open the dig hole. Then power on ProbeStrike and move the probe through the hole until the audio and vibration alerts point to the target.

The levels step from lower to higher sensitivity. The quick-start card has tuning notes, and the settings are meant for ground such as trashy parks, clean sand and mineralized creek beds.

Plug the included USB-C cable into the probe and a USB power source. The lithium battery is rechargeable, so you do not need 9V batteries. The LED shows the level when you power on.
