Port Flash Identification

The transmitter flashes the port it is plugged into, so you can match a cable to its connection in a rack or patch panel. The receiver is used to trace the signal along the cable.

Wiring Diagnostics

The wiring check covers continuity across all eight conductors. It reports open circuits, shorts and crossed wires, and the LCD shows the fault location or the cable length depending on the mode you chose.
